📄️ Downloading Definitions
NetObserv SNMP packages include the ElastiFlow-maintained SNMP definitions that were current at the time of each release. The latest definitions can be downloaded from the elastiflow/snmp repository on GitHub.
📄️ Devices
NetObserv SNMP makes it simple to add devices providing little more than an IP address, SNMP credentials and one or more Device Groups.
📄️ Device Groups
Device Groups organize Object Groups together which may be instrumented by a model or series of device. For example, a Juniper MX-series router will include object groups for various standards-based entities, such as interfaces and routing protocols, and Juniper-specific entities like chassis components and protocol extensions.
📄️ Object Groups
Object Groups organize Objects together which may be implemented by a managed entity. For example, a network interface may contain attributes from the standard interfaces tables, ethernet tables and vendor-specific extension tables. These objects can be organized into a common object group so that they can be easily applied to applicable Device Groups.
📄️ Objects
Objects define the SNMP objects and attributes that may be polled by the SNMP Input.
📄️ Enumerations
Enumeration allow for integer and OID values to be translated to their text values.
