# Encrypting Azure Vnet Configuration

If you are using the [Azure Flow Logs (VNET)](/flowcoll/configuration/inputs/input_azure_vnet.md) input, and you want to encrypt the Azure vnet config file:

1. Setup [generic file encryption](/flowcoll/configuration/encrypting-configuration-files.md) first
2. follow the same steps used to encrypt flowcoll.yml (using either `age` or `sops` depending on encryption mode), but this time run it on `/etc/elastiflow/azure/flowlog_vnet.yml` file.
